Girbau has developed a system to help loading and unloading high-capacity washing machines without the need for a pneumatic system.
This is the “Easy Load” system, which can be activated in the Girbau Series 6 HS-6057 (57kg) and HS-6110 (110kg) models that incorporate this option.
The aim of the new system is to cover a market requirement detected by Girbau.
At present, high-capacity washing machines can be either static or tilting.
While the tilting systems are effective and of great help in loading and unloading operations, they are expensive mechanisms that in turn make the machine more expensive.
Thus some customers rejected the tilting option for price reasons and were left without systems to aid loading and unloading.
With Easy Load, Girbau has developed an economical solution that leads to practically no increase in the price of the machine.
Entry of water and drafts of bass-drum for the load of the machine
With the Easy Load system, during the loading operation the washing machine remains static and do not tilt as washing machines equipped with a pneumatic system would (Girbau Tilt models, for example).
On activating the Easy Load function, the washing machine performs two operations to compact the load and make the best use of its capacity:
1. Opening one of the two water inlets from the washing machine to moisten the clothes, compacting the load and eliminating air gaps.
2. With the door open, the operator activates the drum turning in two directions to help the water to penetrate into the fabric.
Loading can then continue until the washing machine is full.
In this way highly productive washing cycles are achieved, because the loads are full and the water, energy and chemicals used are optimised.
Drafts in both senses for unload of the machine
The unloading of a high-capacity washing machine also entails difficulties; because the force applied during the extraction leaves the load compacted around the inside of the drum.
With the Easy Load system, the operator only needs to pull on the top end of the load and activate this option.
The washing machine performs turns to the left and right to shake the laundry free of the drum, thereby enabling the operator to withdraw the load with ease.
A safe system
The Easy Load system complies with all the required laundry safety regulations. In addition, activating Easy Load requires performing two commands at the same time, thus ensuring that operators have their hands occupied on the control button panel, thus preventing them from being inside the drum while it is spinning to compact the load.
Easy Load expands Girbau’s range of high capacity washing machines. Customers can choose from the Stat model (without any help system), the Stat model with the Easy Load option (without the tilting system but with the help system) and the Tilt option (with the tilting system).
Girbau has once again succeeded in responding to a market demand.
